The Mount, 2024/25

The Mount is a prison, so has some special rules! Both home and away matches will be at their venue near Bovingdon and at their expense. The normal requirements remain for providing officials. Women are allowed to attend.

Their match day will be Saturday and you need to arrive at reception by 8.45am to have cleared security by 9am. Do not be late. Warm up starts at 9.30am (or when both teams are ready) and match completion is 11.30am. Park in the visitor's car park.

Everybody will be required to pre-register before arrival. Their manager Akos (who plays for KLVC) will be in touch before each match for everybody's details or you can download and complete the Team Visit Sheet here.

You must bring photographic ID - either your passport or driver's license.

Rules

1. No under 18s.
2. No sharp items, such as scissors.
3. No mobile phones or similar devices such as smart watches. Nothing with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity.
4. No smoking or vaping.
5. No chewing gum.
6. You can bring drink in, but all drinks must be in a sealed (brand new) bottle. No glass allowed. You can fill an empty water bottle on premises.
7. You can bring food in, but no glass or tin foil allowed.
8. Please leave your purse/wallet in your car.
9. Showers are available, but no spray deodorant is allowed.

Notes

There are obviously some differences for a team operating out of a prison. The HVA will try and apply our normal rules, but where either we nor The Mount are unable to do so, we will take a pragmatic approach. Playing all matches at their venue is one such change and that they may not be able to use the correct name format (or even their real names) on the roster.
